RTD Tea Blends

Numi Organic Tea, Oakland, CA, has introduced six ready-to-drink (RTD) bottled tea blends, including five varieties of organic Puerh tea blends and one organic Rooibos herbal blend. Puerh teas are available in Mango Passion Puerh Black Tea, Earl Grey Puerh Black Tea, Magnolia Jasmine Puerh Green Tea, Peach Nectar Puerh Green Tea and Moroccan Mint Puerh Green Tea. Honey Lemon Rooibos Teasan is also available.

Anteadote

Adagio Teas, Garfield, NJ, has unveiled five organic varieties of its gourmet bottled tea Anteadote: Green, Black, White, Jasmine and Oolong. The products contain organic tea leaves, vitamin C and water. Anteadote is made with a progressive bottling process that extracts oxygen from each bottle, preventing oxidation.

Ramuan Health & Spa

Biotropics, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has introduced its line of Ramuan Health and Ramuan Spa herbal supplements. Asmara for Women contains Kacip Fatimah (Labisia pumila) to enhance sexual vitality and reproductive health; Ramuan Health – Women’s Blends (one for Day and Night) contains Labisia pumila and Ficus deltoidea for sexual health, Garcinia atroviridis fruit extract for metabolism, Centella asiatica for circulatory health, plus Hibiscus sabdariffa, a source of phytonutrients and antioxidants; Tenaga for Men contains Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma longifolia) for sexual fitness and vitality; and Ramuan Health – Men’s Blend also includes Tongkat Ali to promote sexual wellness and healthy aging, according to the company. Each caplet has a proprietary Ulam coating prepared from Kesum (Polygonum minus), a natural leafy herb traditionally consumed in Malaysia.

Borojo Energy

Borojo Beverages, Boca Raton, FL, has launched Borojo Energy, an organic energy drink that contains the South American superfruit borojo. Available in Strawberry Kiwi Watermelon, Pomegranate Acai Blueberry and Guava Passionfruit flavors, the product contains 50 calories per serving, along with green tea, yerba mate and guarana.

EIRO Energy

EIRO Research, Dallas, TX, has launched EIRO Energy, which contains a proprietary blend of guarana, green tea, ginseng and ginkgo biloba, as well as natural fruit juices from black cherry, pomegranate and blueberry.

Hi-Antioxidant Fiber Drink

mix1 Beverage Company, Boulder, CO, has launched Hi-Antioxidant Fiber Drink, which contains 9 servings of fruits and vegetables from a broad spectrum of antioxidants, 9 grams of whey protein isolate and 8 grams of soluble fiber. The product is available in Dark-Berry and Orange-Carrot flavors.

Carb Intercept Sprinkles

Natrol, Chatsworth, CA, has introduced Natrol Carb Intercept Sprinkles “To Go!” for use on prepared foods. This unflavored powder supplement contains 1000 mg of Phase 2 Carb Controller per serving. The company has also launched Natrol JuiceFestiv, which consists of two supplement formulas. FruitFestiv contains vitamins A, C, B6 and B12, folic acid and calcium, along with an organic fruit and enzyme blend. VeggieFestiv contains vitamins A, C, E, folic acid and SelenoExcell High Selenium Yeast, as well as a vegetable and enzyme blend and 300 CFU of Lactobacillus acidophilus.

In addition, Natrol has introduced AcaiBerry 1200 mg: Extra-Strength potency supplement in capsule form; Natrol Probiotic Intestinal Maximum Care, which contains IntestiBiotic, a proprietary blend of four probiotic strains; and Natrol Stress & Anxiety: Effective DAY & NITE Formulas. The day formula contains 5-HTP and L-theanine, while the night formula contains melatonin, L-glutamine, as well as extracts of valerian and grape seed.

Organic Superfood Chocolate Kits

Navitas Naturals, Novato, CA, has introduced Organic Superfood Chocolate Kits, available in Goji Berry, Cacao Nib and Goldenberry varieties. Each kit creates 12 organic chocolates. Each also contains raw cacao butter, cacao powder, mesquite, lucuma and maca, along with goji berry, cacao nib or goldenberry, which is featured in the chewy center of the chocolates.

The company has also launched Organic Green Stevia powder, the first product under Navitas Naturals’ new natural alternative sweetener brand called Sweet Tooth. In addition, the company has launched Organic Chia Seed, offered in re-sealable 8-oz. and 16-oz. pouches, as well as bulk quantities for manufacturers.

Omega Longevity

Nordic Naturals, Watsonville, CA, has launched Omega Longevity, a synergistic blend of fish oil, resveratrol and green tea extract. Two 1000 mg soft gels contain 455 mg of EPA, 315 mg of DHA, 30 IU of vitamin E, 120 mg of resveratrol and 500 mg of green tea extract.

Hibiscus Beverage Flavors

OOBA, Pleasanton, CA, has expanded its line of lightly sweetened sparkling hibiscus beverages to include three new flavors: Hibiscus & Blackberry, Hibiscus & Vanilla and Hibiscus & Pineapple. Each contains antioxidant-rich hibiscus extract and 90 calories per serving.

Phix Energy and Phix Sleep

Seattle, WA-based Phix has introduced its dietary supplements Phix Energy and Phix Sleep, offered in stick packs. Energy contains 14 vitamins and minerals, geen tea antioxidants, NADH (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotiden), yerba mate and eleuthero (Siberian ginseng). It is available in Citron, Tropic and Teaberry flavors. Phix Sleep contains lemon balm extract, chamomile, GABA (gamma amino butyric acid), jujube berry, magnesium and vitamin B6. It is available in Lemon Chamomile flavor.

Cleanse Kits & GreenDog Naturals

Rainbow Light Nutritional Systems, Santa Cruz, CA, has launched several new products, including its all-natural, three-step ThinBerry Diet & Cleanse Kit, which contains three products. ThinBerry Diet contains Svetol green coffee berry, green tea and artichoke leaf. Daily Fruit & Fiber contains both soluble and insoluble fibers from whole food sources, as well as pre- and probiotics, digestive herbs and green foods. PM Purify contains purifying and cleansing herbs that promote robust digestion. The company has also unveiled Cleanse Away 7-Day Renewal Kit, which contains Daily Fruit & Fiber and PM Purify along with AM Citrus Cleanse, a liver flush formula that contains citrus juices, olive oil, ginger and garlic.

Rainbow Light has also introduced its all-natural, organic canine supplement line, GreenDog Naturals. Whole Dog Daily contains naturally occurring enzymes from raw whole foods, herbs designed to sooth and cleanse the digestive system, probiotics, Forti-Flax flaxseed oil and phytonutrients from antioxidant superfoods. Healthy Motion contains glucosamine, MSM and chondroitin (from green lipped mussels), as well as concentrated botanical extracts. Lastly, Omega Glo-Coat 3-6-9 contains Fresh-Catch fish oil and Forti-Flax flaxseed oil, offering omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids in balanced ratios to promote glowing skin and coat.

Sayan Health, Los Angeles, CA, has introduced Chaga, its line of ready-to-drink (RTD) health beverages that contain Siberian chaga, a healthy herbal ingredient rich in antioxidants, and a variety of other natural compounds that support better health. It is available in Original, Peach and Raspberry flavors.

EcoDrink Vitamin and Mineral

SGN Nutrition, Oceanside, CA, has unveiled its EcoDrink Vitamin and Mineral formula, which contains vitamins A, C, E, B3, B6, B12 and D3, along with calcium, magnesium, chromium, selenium, biotin and molybdenum. The formula also contains folic acid, potassium, lycopene and lutein. The powdered drink mix is available in Orange Citrus and Mixed Berry flavors. EcoDrink is also available in an Energy formula.

Organic Chocolate Bars

Shaman Chocolates, Soquel, CA, has added two new flavors to its collection of gourmet, organic chocolate bars: Organic Dark Chocolate with Acai, Lemon & Orange and Organic Dark Chocolate with Green Tea & Ginger.

Health Squeeze

Silver Springs Citrus, Howey-in-the-Hills, FL, has introduced two product lines under its new brand Health Squeeze. Healthy Squeeze Organic Juice and Healthy Squeeze Bene(Fit). Healthy Squeeze Organic Juice is made from pure organic juice blends and is available in three flavors: Orange-Peach-Mango, Pineapple-Orange-Banana and Strawberry-Kiwi. Healthy Squeeze Bene(Fit) Enriched All Natural Juice contains vitamin C and potassium and is available in two flavors: 100% Pomegranate and Pomegranate-Blueberry.

YoBaby Meals

Stonyfield Farm, Londonderry, NH, has launched organic YoBaby Meals, which combines fruit, vegetables and yogurt in one package. The company has also added Strawberry flavor to its Oikos Organic Greek yogurt.

Deep Knee Beans

TandemRain Innovations, Vancouver, WA, has released Deep Knee Beans, a confectionery formulation that contains 500 mg of ActivMSM (methylsulfonylmethane). The product is available in Tangerine, Lemon Lime, Fruit Fusion and Blueberry Blast flavors.

Lithe

The Honest Kitchen, San Diego, CA, has unveiled Lithe, an herbal tea for dogs and cats formulated to support healthy bone and joint function. Lithe contains an aromatic blend of plants that deliver anti-inflammatory, circulatory and mobility-centered benefits, including alfalfa, white willow bark, yucca, ginger, red clover and boswellia. Created for aging pets, those with pre-existing bone or joint concerns, and those who are genetically prone to mobility problems, Lithe helps support normal joint health, flexion and movement, according to the company.

Oxylent

Vitalah, Santa Cruz County, CA, has released Oxylent, a powder supplement that delivers a blend of enzymes, electrolytes, amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Vitalicious Foods, New York, NY, has added Banana Nut flavor to its line of VitaMuffin VitaTops. The product contains 100 calories, 5 grams of fiber, 5 grams of protein, 8 grams of whole grains and 15 vitamins and minerals.

ZICO Coconut Water

Oradell, NJ-based ZICO has launched ZICO Coconut Water, which contains 100% pure coconut water, extracted from young or “green” coconuts. It also contains more potassium than a banana and five essential electrolytes per serving. The product is available in three varieties: Natural, Mango and Passion Fruit-Orange Peel.
